Oct.24, 2019 -- The International Trade Center for Tibetan Traditional Medicine is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.
The center, located in Lhasa Economic and Technical Development Zone, will be a comprehensive market for Tibetan traditional medicines, healthcare products, ethnic specialties and storage services. 85% of the project has been completed so far since the construction started last September. It will accommodate over a thousand medicine enterprises and create about 5,000 jobs.
The center, covering 120,000 square meters, is divided into 2 areas -- Office Area and Business & Trade Area. The Office Area in the north will serve as the operational center, providing services for business negotiation, daily work, management and in particular financing guarantee for small and micro businesses. The Business & Trade Area in the south is a hub of products exhibition, sales promotion, storage and manufacturing. It will also be a tourist destination and provide bank-level insurance service for expensive medicines and specialties.
