Oct.11, 2019 -- The second stage of the Second Trans-Himalaya International Extreme Cycling Race (2019)concluded on Wednesday.

 

Cyclists covered the longest distance during this stage.Road-bike riders started from Shannan Stadium and eventually arrived at a location 200 meters west to the Liuwu Bridge, covering about 160 kilometers. Mountain-bike riders started from Shannan Stadium and arrived at the Da Sang Ye Community Service Centre, covering about 36 kilometers.

 

Niu Yikui, Wang Qiang and Liu Jiankun finished first, second and third in the men’s road cycling singles. For the women’sgroup race, Changsha Clockwise Team, Heilongjiang Team and Shanxi Team won the first, second and third place respectively. 

 

Li Junjie, Li Xueqiang and Suo Lang came first, second and third in the men’s mountain cycling singles. Su Yue, Hong Mei and Dekyi Quzhen finished first, second and third in the women’s singles. Fengxing Outdoor Team, Eagle Teamand Lhasa Friends Team won the first, second and third in the group race.
