April 17, 2019 -- Over the past three years, Ngari Prefecture of Tibet Autonomous Region has seen a whopping reduction in the number of people living in poverty, from 6,285 households and 22,900 people at the end of 2015 to 1,867 households and 6,700 people at the end of 2018, according to official data from the government of Ngari Prefecture.
