China’s Tibetan delegation visits San Francisco

May 21,2018--A Tibetan delegation from China's National People's Congress (NPC) paid a visit to San Francisco Bay Area from May 13th to 14th. 
 
The delegation, headed by Padma Wangdu, party chief of Lhasa and member of the standing committee of the CPC regional committee of Tibet Autonomous Region, held talks with overseas Tibetan and Chinese.
 
Padma Wangdu gave an introduction of the historic changes and achievements made in Tibet’s economic and social development over the past 40 years.
 
Overseas Chinese and Tibetans felt proud of what Tibet has achieved and said that they would continue to promote mutual understanding between the two peoples and contribute to the prosperity of their hometown.
 
During the visit, Chinese Consul-General Luo Linquan met with the delegation.
