Mar. 27, 2018 -- Tibet Autonomous Region will step up efforts to build culture windows and trade platforms across the nation and overseas to promote Tibetan culture. Tibetan culture windows have been established in Shanghai and Shenzhen, and more will open in more developed cities in east China. Tibet also plans to open a culture window in Katmandu, capital of Nepal in the first half of 2018. The windows give local people opportunities to understand both Tibetan and Chinese culture. “They will help promote Tibetan cultural products and improve the competiveness and influence of Tibetan cultural industry,” said Gang Qing, head of the culture department of the region.
