Dec. 26, 2017 -- Tibet has initiated a rural revitalization strategy to help 628 villages along its over 4,000 kilometers borderline to get rid of poverty.

In 2016, it poured more than 100 million yuan to upgrade the infrastructure of a border village with less than 100 households.

A tea cooperative has been established, where local farmers and herdsmen can learn how to process tea leaves.

After the 19th National Congress of the CPC, Tibet has sped up efforts to improve living standards of villagers near the border. All border villages will get access to rural roads and the average disposable income per capita of the villagers will double by 2020.
