Regarding the heritage and conservation of ancient Tibetan manuscripts, according to the limited view by the author, many catalogues has been published in China recently. They are mainly printed in the form of bilingual text and a few with photos as examples. At the same time, some large collections of Tibetan manuscripts have been scanned and published recently. The present essay is briefly focus on the importance of publishing scanned version to protect and promulgate the heritage of Tibetan culture.
