China is a unified multi-ethnic country. All ethnic groups have left behind voluminous ancient texts in the long history of development. The Xizang Autonomous Region, as the place of origin and development of Tibetan culture with a vast collection of ancient Tibetan Buddhist texts. Since the peaceful liberation of Xizang, Tibet has made remarkable achievements in the rescue and protection of ancient Tibetan texts in the past more than 70 years. Entering the new era, the cause of Tibetan ancient books has ushered in new development opportunities. How to seize the new opportunity is the key task at present, and this is also an important initiative to further promote the development and prosperity of the cause of ancient books in China.
