At a time when the current world system is undergoing major changes, we should regard this dramatic change as an opportunity for intellectuals in Himalayan countries to develop new narratives in the Himalayas.The Himalayan region was the earliest and most in-depth region where Western colonial powers colonized the Asian region.From British imperialism to today's American hegemony, their propaganda and destruction of Himalaya countries have never ceased. As countries around Himalayas, we need develop independent writing on the history, culture and society of the Himalayas, and form a new Himalayan narrative. The purpose of the new Himalayan narrative is to replace the Himalayan narrative of binary opposition in the West with the grand unity narrative of the Himalayan countries.
