"China has paid great efforts to protect Tibet's traditional culture", said a journalist from India when he finished the 5-day "Perceive Tibetan culture tour to China's Tibet".

From August 20 to September 1, invited by the Tibet Autonomous Region, 5 journalists from India and Nepal, and 5 principals of the foreign media participated in the "Perceive Tibetan culture tour to China's Tibet".

During the tour, the media tour attended the opening ceremony of the Shoton Festival, the Tibet Museum, the Tibet University, the Potala Palace and other places of interest. Also the media tour interviewed experts who are specialized in Tibet opera, Tibetan medicine and Tibetan language. Besides, all journalists had close contacts with local farmers and herdsmen.

"I will tell people in India the reality and development of Tibet, because I have seen all of these with my own eyes", said a journalist from India. "Tibet has gained great development and is highly modernized, which I have never expected before coming to Tibet", said a journalist from Nepal.

Wang Zengqiang, associate editor of American International Daily said, he was very proud for Tibet's achievement.
It is reported that the Tibet Autonomous Region started the "Perceive Tibetan culture tour to China's Tibet" since 2009, and it is the 3rd one of this kind of activities this year.
